FROM TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH: A Real Love Story

Pastor Mary Cooper - Founder of Daughters of Esther Ministry
Mary is a living testament of God’s amazing grace. She rose from tragedy to triumph, overcoming insurmountable odds to become the woman that God destined her to be. Faced with the challenges of abandonment, sexual and physical abuse, numerous addictive behaviors, and life-threatening illnesses, Mary might have been nothing more than just another unfortunate statistic. But, through a series of divinely orchestrated events, Mary gave her life to the Lord and was dramatically changed. Step by step, God began to reconstruct her life, forming her into the image and likeness of Christ. Through the delivering power of God, Mary was completely set free from all of her addictions and supernaturally healed from the pain and hurt of her past.
Mary is now a full-time itinerant speaker and has traveled on mission trips to Africa, Trinidad, Barbados, Ukraine and Poland, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and ministering healing and deliverance to countless numbers of people. She ministered in over 100 different venues before she was licensed and ordained as a Pastor. She is a graduate of GWWM School of Biblical Studies and Ministerial Training, and served as an Associate Pastor at Victory Christian Fellowship of New Castle, Delaware for over 11 years.
Mary is a “Naomi” to many “Ruth’s” in the Body of Christ, mentoring and training women to accomplish all that God has called them to do. She is even a spiritual mid-wife, helping women to birth the vision that God put inside of them. Known for her integrity, Christ-like character, and unwavering faith in God, Pastor Mary is an extraordinary gift to the Body of Christ. She ministers under a powerful anointing and is often used by God to prophetically speak what thus saith the Lord.” She loves to preach the Gospel and her mandate is to exhort, encourage, and motivate the Body of Christ to seek after the “high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Married for over 30 years to Rev. James Cooper, Mary lives in Newark, Delaware and enjoys ministering alongside her husband whenever the opportunity presents itself.
